AUB’s Olayan School
of Business (OSB) was featured in the Financial Times website in an
article by Linda Anderson, entitled “Lebanon
Joins the Big League.” The article tracks OSB’s history and
potential for expansion. In an interview with Dean George Najjar,
Anderson describes the school’s faculty members, its Executive MBA
program, and its research liaisons with the London School of Economics
and INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France. Published on November 9, 2005, the
article notes the school’s plans to seek accreditation from the United
States Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and
its hopes to acquire approval from the European Foundation for
Management Development’s accrediting arm, EQUIS.
