Ph.D. in Organisational Psychology - Psychometrics
The PhD focused on the development of practical and theoretical model for adapting personality questionnaires into different languages and cultures while maintaining equivalence between them. This was operationalised through the adaptation of Orpheus work-based personality questionnaire from English to Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin), and Spanish.

The PhD was supervised by Dr Almuth McDowall from Surrey Univeristy (http://www.psy.surrey.ac.uk/people/staff/AMcDowall.htm)and examined by Professor Ronald Hambleton, a renowned academic in the field of cross-cultural assessment and measurement and holder of the titles of Distinguished University Professor, Co-Chairperson of the Research and Evaluation Methods Program, and Executive Director of the Center for Educational Assessment at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in the USA (http://www.umass.edu/remp/remp3_ron.htm).

The PhD was fully funded through a scholarship from City University London and an additional research support scholorship from the Psychometrics Centre at Cambridge Assessment, Cambridge University.
